MY DAD STORY  BY CAMDEN

What my Dad does most days.

My Dad works at the Rose and Shamrock. He sells fancy wine and beer etc. If you meet my dad he is a great guy he says hi and  hello to everybody. Every time my dad goes to work he wears his uniform Sometimes I get to come to his work and go in the staff only place. I  help him to pick up the boxes it’s cool being Dads little helper. When Dad comes home we do dad time which is jumping on the tramp and playing rugby. Dad loves cracking jokes just for the fun of it. They are more funny than a lemur laughing. It usually cracks me up.

My Dad looked like a barbarian with his old moustache. But he is almost fully BALD but my dad still looks good bald. His uniform is all black but on saint patrick's day he’s all green. Dad has a great smile and he usually smiles for everything it’s cool that I have the best Dad in the world.

South African born Van der Merwe is a well known face in the Celtic League having played for Glasgow Warriors ever since the 2009 Churchill Cup. Possessing an impressive try scoring record - 10 tries in 15 Tests - Van der Merwe was present at the 2007 World Cup - where he scored against Japan - and will turn out again for the Canucks in the 2011 showpiece.

This is my art that took me 2 weeks to make. It took a while but it was worth it.
I have made Ender_Nigh_Lord with paint and white crayon.
I made my background blue.

I changed my background because the original one has a hole in it, and then Miss Plimmer said block on block for background wouldn't stand out. I have kept mostly to my plan.

Task 2- Your plan

Please insert a picture of what your completed art will look like. (It will be either: an image from the internet, a google drawing or a rough draft).

Write a list of materials you will need.

If a material is not in the classroom, include how you will get it.

• black paint
• purple paint
• light purple paint
• grey paint
• background- will make this too

Write a list of steps to take.

1. Sketch the head. It should look like a square block.
2. Sketch blocky chest.
3. Sketch blocky arms.
4. Sketch blocky legs.
5. Put in the extra detail. Add a blocky crown to his head, add a blocky amulet to his chest, armour to his legs and arms, and add eyes on his face.
6. Color his blocky eyes purple.
7. Color his blocky chest black and grey.
8. Color his blocky legs black and grey.
9. Cut him out and glue him in the middle of the background.

Making the background

1. Get a white piece of paper and sketch some blocky trees. There should be 3 trees.
2. Sketch in a creeper in the background.
3. Sketch in a little stream.
4. Add detail to sketches.
5. Use colouring pencil to neatly colour the background.

Frizzell's work is described as iconic kiwiana pop art. He also worked as an animator and illustrator.

he was born in 1943 in Auckland.

Frizzell divides his time between Auckland and Hawke's Bay.

Frizzell is also responsible for the lithograph 'Mickey to Tiki'. tu meke.

He had a dog called Modee for just over 25 years. She was a poodle fox terrier cross.

Frizzell trained at the lIan school of fine Arts of the University of Canterbury from 1960 to 1963.

Frizzell made wine and wine boxes like this one he has his own vineyard  thats a pretty good box of wine you have there

He does not stay within one particular style, and often adopts unfashionable painting styles.  Dick Frizzell made the first Four Square man", an advertising character for the Four Square grocery chain.

He helped to make the rugby world cup 2011 icon.
