Maths

Today I am blogging this because I want to show the people how to maths correctly. I was learning to use weight in grams and kgs.

Gladstone School bought 200 cartons of biscuits to sell for fundraising. Each carton contained 15 kg of biscuits.
Each packet of biscuits in a carton weighed 250 g.
(1000 g = 1 kg)
a) How many kg of biscuits were there to sell? 3000kg
200x5=1000
200x15=3000
200x10=2000
10x2=20

b) How many packets of biscuits were there? 12000 packets of biscuits mmmIMG_0929.JPG
3000x4=12000

(In each 1kg there are 4 packets because 1000 g = 1kg and each pack weighs 250g. 250x4=1000)
